The First Charter of Virginia

Author: Lukin

Audience: The colonies, all the people of England, and all the people who are interested in the policys.

Tone: Serious, offical, professional and controlling.

Purpose & Context: The purpose and context of the charter is to explain to all the people the rules, laws, expectations and boundaries for each colony in Virginia.


Persausion
Ethos- Impowering, because they are forming a new government system.
Pathos- The people who are writing this document are creating the council and rules, which make them knowelgable of the text.
Logos-They are forming a new government for the colonies so the people know the laws and rules they must come by when joining.
